Walk in My Shoes Radio’ is a pop-up radio station that will be broadcast live from St Patrick’s Mental Health Services from Monday 5th – Friday 9th October to mark World Mental Health Week.
It is the only pop-up radio station dedicated to promoting positive metal health.
The overall aim of #Walk in My Shoes Radio is to encourage listeners to become involved in the conversation around mental health. Positive mental health and wellbeing should be a priority in all of our lives
#Wallk in My Shoes Radio has an important message, taking action early by seeking support and professional advice to deal with mental health issues is hugely important. Our tagline is ‘A small step, a huge difference’. (A small step can make a huge difference)
During the week, station guests will share their stories of support and recovery and encourage guests, where appropriate, to do the same.
#Walk in My Shoes Radio will broadcast to Dublin City and County (Frequency 94.3FM) Turn the dial to WIMS FM. Outside of Dublin listeners can tune in through www.walkinmyshoes.ie
#Walk in My Shoes Radio will provide 70 hours of quality radio from October 5th-9th.Each show will be anchored by well-known broadcasters.
There is lots of support for the station and there is a host of both mental health advocates and celebrity ambassadors involved
