Time to Talk Clonmel sparks 950 conversations

Time to Talk Clonmel
This July, Clonmel played host to a week-long programme of fun activity aimed at bringing the community together on the subject of mental health and sparking discussion. The pop-up campaign hub took place in The Nest, 27-28 Mitchell Street from the 29th July to the 1st of August.

This was a week for Clonmel, by Clonmel. We teamed up with a host of local organisations, volunteers and community groups to stage a daily pop-café and full programme of fun mental health-themed events for the local community. There was free tea and coffee served each day and everyone was invited to visit the café and join in the conversation. Activities included story telling sessions, laughing yoga, art classes, a table quiz and various talks by individual volunteers.

The café attracted many visitors over the four days and sparked a total number of 950 conversations on mental health.
