In response to the latest Government advice issued on Thursday 12th March regarding Covid-19, Shine is putting a number of measures in place to protect the people who use Shine services and our staff, and to prevent the potential spread of the Coronavirus.

See Change is a project of Shine, and will be following the procedures as listed below.

From close of business, today 13th March until 29th March, all in-person meetings and groups scheduled to take place will be suspended including:

  1. All group including Phrenz, Relatives and Resource Centre groups
  2. Training and education groups
  3. Face-to-face meetings with Information & Support Officers, centre staff and Counsellors.
  4. All Shine Resource Centres, Counselling and Regional offices will be closed

However, Shine staff will be available to offer remote support and an outreach service to people who use Shine services by phone and email during this time.

Any scheduled individual appointments will continue by phone and Shine staff will be in touch with people directly to arrange. Our email counselling support service phil@shine.ie will continue to be available at this time.

The safety and well-being of the people who use our services is of the utmost importance to Shine. We will continue to review the situation and adhere to all Government recommendations during this time.
