We are delighted to announce that Samaritans have come on board as the 53rd See Change partnership organisation.

Samaritans provides a 24-hour source of support by telephone, SMS and email and offer face to face support via a 20 Branch network in Ireland. They also provide an extensive outreach programme including ‘Feet on the Street’ and ‘Festival’ teams and work in schools, prisons and with people in the workplace.

Suzanne Costello, Samaritans spokesperson and Director for Ireland said ‘As the largest provider of emotional support in Ireland, Samaritans aims to benefit society by improving people’s emotional health in order to create a greater sense of well being.’

See Change Campaign Manager Kahlil Thompson Coyle said ‘Inspired by the fantastic work that Samaritans have carried out in Ireland in recent years, we welcome them warmly to the partnership and look forward to working together in the future on community intiatives in order to challenge the stigma and discrimation associated with mental health problems’.
