Stop Suicide
STOP Suicide is a registered charity that was set up in 2004 by five Families in the Northwest that had lost a Family member to Suicide. STOP suicide provides ten free Crisis Intervention & Solution Focused Therapy sessions to those who are in distress or feeling suicidal. Laois Community Forum
Laois Community Forum provides a platform for community and voluntary groups to network and be involved in the economic, social and cultural development of the county. Open Heart House
Open Heart House is a center of warmth, welcome and acceptance which actively embraces and supports people living with HIV and AIDS. National Youth Council of Ireland
The National Youth Council of Ireland is the representative body for national voluntary youth work organisations in Ireland. Is é Comhairle Náisiúnta na nÓg an eagras ionadaíochta an óige in Éirinn. It represents and supports the interests of around 50 voluntary youth organisations and uses its collective experience to act on issues that impact on young people.It seeks to ensure that all young people are empowered to develop the skills and confidence to fully participate as active citizens in an inclusive society. Garageland
The Garage Gigs have been providing opportunities to new musicians and songwriters for 13 years, and have helped some of Ireland’s best known artists to get started, including The Script, Royseven, Delorentos, Ham Sandwich, Ryan Sheridan, The Immediate. Garageland also run Band Camps for young musicians and designed The Irish Youth Music Awards for Youth Work Ireland, which is the biggest music event on the Youth Work calendar.
