Over 300,000 Green Ribbons already distributed

See Change are delighted to announce that over 300,000 Green Ribbons have already been distributed as part of our campaign to end mental health stigma.

The Green Ribbon campaign aims to end stigma by prompting a national conversation about mental health and encouraging people to educate themselves about mental health difficulties.

The campaign is led by See Change ambassadors, a group of 60 people with lived experience, who are sharing their stories to spark a national conversation. See Change works in partnership with over 100 organisations in Ireland to achieve its goals.

As part of the campaign, 500,000 Green Ribbons will be sent out nationwide and free of charge in conjunction with hundreds of local and national events.
The campaign will be launched by Minister for Mental Health and Older People Jim Daly, Thursday 3rd May at 11am, Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2.
Keynote speaker at the launch is Sir Graham Thornicroft, international expert on stigma and mental health.

Speakers include:

Alan Quinlan, Sports Broadcaster and Mental Health Advocate

Jen Ronan, See Change ambassador, blogger and TV panellist

Cllr. Mícheál Mac Donncha, Lord Mayor of Dublin
