See Change is delighted to welcome Near Media Co-op as the 51st organisation to join our partnership of committed groups working together to challenge the stigma of mental health problems.

Welcoming Near Media Co-op to the See Change partnership, campaign manager Kahlil Thompson Coyle said

“Community media organisations like Near Media Co-op play a vital role in giving voice to the issues that really matter to the communities they serve. See Change looks forward to collaborating with our new partners at Near FM on dedicated mental health programming that will create open discussion and a shared understanding of the mental health problems that can effect any one of us in Dublin’s Northside and beyond”

Ciaran Murray, Project Coordinator with Near Media Co-op added

“Near Media Co-op, which comprises of nearfm (90.3), neartv and near online, are committed to de-stigmatising attitudes towards mental health problems in the communities we serve. We believe mental health should be openly discussed at all levels of society in places of media, education and employment and between young and old alike. Through dedicated programming and training for our staff and volunteers we are at the forefront of promoting positive attitudes to mental health in North Dublin. We are delighted to partner with See Change and look forward to helping them to implement their work to bring about positive change in public attitudes and behaviour towards people with mental health problems.”
